Remembrance Day: Saturday November 11th, 2023

A time to reflect.

During a time of war and conflict around the world, we want to take time to remember the sacrifices of World War One, World War Two and all the conflicts where Canadians and others have sacrificed in the name of freedom and fighting against oppression.

RTAM Directors will be attending various Remembrance Day ceremonies around the City of Winnipeg and Province of Manitoba. RTAM is also supporting the 2024 Royal Canadian Legion magazine and will be a featured supporter of the Legion in the publication.

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.
