Went to Norma School in Winnipeg, followed by three years of teaching in rural Manitoba schools. Enrolled in Little's Business College in Dauphin and after graduating, worked in Eaton's office in Dauphin. Taught Business Education in Swan River for four years, then moved to teach Business Education at Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute, attending many required summer sessions. I took early retirement, joined RTAM and a year later, was elected to the Board. I have been Chair of the Finance and Wellness Committee, organizing the first Wellness Seminars. I have been on the Benefits Committee and Website Committee, off and on, for a number of years. I have been Editor of KIT for the past number of years.
